Midwintercontest

Results 2009

Dear Contestants,

Here are the results of the 2009 Midwintercontest, hopefully in 2010 conditions on HF will be better! It was hard to gather points. Still over 30 YL stations were flagged in the logs! This contest proofs to be a good opportunity to work YL’s. Congratulations to the winners, they will receive their certificate with the mailman. And good job to Ilona, who operated the clubstation UV2L. She is the youngest contestant ever in the Midwintercontest and managed to take the 2nd place in YL SSB section! As from next year I will start to hand out digital awards to the winners. We have put some information on the internet as well, check out the following website: http://trafficbureau.veron.nl/  Then click on the “contesten” link in the left menu, then choose Midwintercontest, there is an English version as well.  Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest, and I hope to see you all again in next years contest! Take care es good dx!
